AI-Powered Job Search & Career Readiness Workshop

A live, hands-on workshop for anyone who has been laid off, is unemployed, is looking for a job, or is considering a career change.

You’ll learn how to use AI to make your job search easier and more effective, while also getting clearer on your strengths, skills, identity, and next career move.

We will first connect with others in a similar position and reflect on who you are outside of your job. The workshop also includes an identity exercise centered on the idea that your work is not your worth. Participants will help shape the workshop by voting on the topics they most want to cover.

Topics
  • Use AI to find jobs you might not know about
  • Use an Ikigai exercise to explore the intersection of what you love, what you’re good at, what the world needs, and what you can be paid for
  • Tailor your résumé for specific roles and ATS systems
  • Identify your transferable skills and learn how to communicate them
  • Use AI to prepare for interviews and role-play scenarios
  • Learn how to build experience in a new field
  • Assemble a portfolio of past work, projects, and new work
  • Apply AI to your current profession or desired field

You’ll also receive practical resources to support your confidence, wellbeing, and career transition. If time permits, we will talk through how to identify your strengths and overcome your inner critic.

What Participants Said

Resume + LinkedIn

I learned to overcome my apprehension to using AI for this purpose. It created a far better LinkedIn profile and resume for me than the one I've been using. And it gave me more confidence that I could land a great job with the parameters I prefer.

The Why

Belong. Believe. Become.

I lead with empathy to create spaces where people come as they are and find belonging, freeing them to believe in themselves and become unstoppable.

How It Works

From first step to hired.

01

Belong. Come as you are.

No AI experience needed. No account to create, nothing to buy. You show up with your work history and we start there. Every workshop is built for real people at different comfort levels with technology, and nobody gets left behind.

02

Believe. Practice on your real job search.

This is not a lecture. You work hands-on with AI tools on your actual situation: analyzing a real job posting, finding the transferable skills in your own experience, practicing answers to the interview questions you will actually face. You watch your own story get stronger in front of you.

03

Become. Leave with it in your hands.

You walk out with a personalized job-search action plan, a rewritten resume section, a prompt library you can reuse, and an interview practice set. Everything is yours to keep. Every draft gets your review before it goes anywhere, because AI drafts and you decide.

About

Hi, I'm Kat, your partner in human-centered AI.

Kat is an AI and agent leader working at the intersection of business, people, and technology. She began her career in Brand Management at Procter & Gamble, where she helped restore a $75 million brand to growth, before moving into HR and HR technology, where she co-led P&G's HR AI Innovation Funnel. Her experience gives her a unique perspective: a sharp focus on business results paired with a deep understanding of the people side and what it takes to drive adoption.

Today, Kat is the Agent Lead for Simplicity Consulting, embedded within Microsoft's Marketing organization, where she builds Copilot agents for Microsoft and oversees other agent builders. She takes an outcome-based agent approach, starting with the business need and designing AI solutions where they can deliver the most ROI.

Kat has AI and agent enablement experience across seven Fortune 500 companies spanning strategy, development, implementation, training, and adoption. Her work has been featured in Course Report, and she has a patent pending for her work in AI.

As a former Division I National Champion, Kat brings this athletic mindset to her work, with a determination to win and a relentless drive for results.

Women + AI Is a Competitive Advantage

    Look Beneath the Surface

Women are 47% of the U.S. workforce but 83% of the workers in the jobs most exposed to AI. The easy read is that women have the most to lose. This talk argues the opposite. The roles most at risk run on exactly the skills AI needs most: empathy, context, reading people, knowing how work actually gets done. Drawing on close to a year of building AI agents inside one of the largest tech companies in the world, this keynote shows why empathy is not a soft skill in the AI era but a technical one, and why the people closest to the work are the ones companies should be building with, not laying off.

What If AI Makes Us More Human, Not Less?

The fear about AI is that it costs us our humanity. Less empathy. Less connection. Less of the messy real stuff between people. This talk makes the opposite case. AI doesn't erase the human touch. It removes the limits that have always held our empathy back: fatigue, bias, the way we care deeply about one person and go numb to a million. Drawing on research and my own work building AI, this keynote shows where AI can carry the weight our emotional hardware was never built to hold, and just as important, which parts of being human should stay untouched. The goal is not better AI. It is better humans.

The ABC Method: AI Implementation Made Simple

Everyone wants to start with the build. That is the mistake. You start with the audit. Work backward from the outcome the business wants. Weigh the value, the risk, the readiness. Pick the highest-return bets and break them into wins small enough to reach. Then you build. And to build, you have to break. Take the workflow apart. What step disappears. What stays human. What an agent can own. You do not bolt AI onto a broken process. You redesign it. Then you champion. The work does not end when the agent ships. It ends when your people reach for it without being told. Audit. Build. Champion. The only method that survives a real team.

    AI for Non-Tech Professionals

Upskilling, Career Transitions & Job Search

My career didn't follow a straight line: brand management, then HR technology, then building AI agents. Every skill I use now, I built somewhere that didn't look like tech. If you're a woman in a career change, or wondering where you fit in the AI age, this is for you. The roles no one called technical taught you the skills this era needs most. You don't have to start over, and you don't have to become someone else to belong here. You pair what you already have with what these tools can do. You need a place to start, not a finished plan.

Values

The compass behind the work.

Empathy

Leading with empathy means listening first, understanding what people need, and creating space for others to feel seen, heard, and valued.

Belonging

People do their best work when they can come as they are and know they have a place.

Self-Belief

Growth starts when people begin to trust their own voice, capability, and potential.

Becoming

Becoming is the ongoing process of growth, change, and stepping into what is possible.

Courage

Meaningful change takes courage: the courage to challenge the ordinary, try something new, and lead before the path is perfectly clear.

Kat's methodology visual

Kat's Methodology

AI implementation feels impossible. It doesn't have to. That's why The ABC method© was created.

Audit.

Outcome based agent design.

Work backward to understand the outcomes the business is striving to achieve. Understand the possibilities and their value, feasibility, risk, data and team readiness. Based on the highest AI ROI, agree on long term bets, and break them down into short-term wins to get there.

Build.

Break it to build it.

Rethink workflows with AI in mind: which steps can you eliminate, which steps should humans own, what can agents own, and where is a hybrid approach best. Create an ongoing governance and operating model. Outcome: Redesigned workflows & agentic solutions.

Champion.

Upskill your team with interactive training.

Keep them up to speed with ongoing micro-trainings. Pair it with a communication plan that grabs attention and cuts through the noise. Track adoption and adjust as needed.
